Things to note for GCE O-level MT Listening Comprehension this afternoon

Dear all,

(A) Please note that the GCE O-level MT Listening Comprehension will be conducted today:

Date: Tuesday, 22nd July 2014

Reporting Time: 1400 hrs (Session 1: Chinese), 1600 hrs (Session 2: Malay/Tamil/Chinese B)

Venue: Block B, Level 4 and 5

(B) For Sec 4 MT students and Sec 3 HMT students who are taking Session 1, you will be released from lessons latest by 1.20 pm to get your lunch and prepare to report.

(C) To ensure that the candidates are provided with a conducive environment for their exams, please do NOT conduct any activities or loiter around or near Block B while the exams are ongoing.

Do note that Session 2 will only end after 5.30 pm, so please do NOT resume your activities before that.

HBL - in Timetable

Blended Learning in MOE’s context refers to a seamless blending of different modes of learning to enhance students’ educational experience. One aspect of Blended Learning is the integration of home-based learning (HBL) as a regular feature of the schooling experience.

HBL takes place once a fortnight when students do not report to school for lessons, but carry out self-directed learning or activities assigned to be completed remotely.

Instructions and tasks will be assigned by the subject teacher in the Google Classroom (though the tasks may not be confined to the Google Classroom).

HBL - not in Timetable

In the event that HBL is declared for a school day (i.e. not in timetable or pre-planned):
1. Subject lessons will follow current timetable.
2. Lessons will take place via the existing GMeet/ Online platforms set up in the subject Google Classrooms.
3. Login and report to the Form Teacher at the usual morning assembly time for attendance taking and morning briefing. REMEMBER:
Check the Students Blog and your official email regularly (8 am and 5pm) for any updates communicated to you in the day.
