Dear students,
As a follow-up to the briefing on the Total Defence Day (TDD) Programme on Monday (10th Feb), here are some key points to take note of.
The theme of TDD 2025 is Together We Keep Singapore Strong and the focus this year is to develop Singaporean’s readiness for crises and disruptions, and to understand the many ways we can put Total Defence into action in our everyday lives.
Here is an outline of the Commemoration Activities:
For the Food Resilience Preparedness Programme (FRPP) on Monday (17th February), the details are as follows:
Date: 17th February 2025, Monday (T1W7)
Time: Respective recesses
Venue: Atrium - all classes are to report to Atrium for recess
Do note that NO Canteen Stores/ Cafes will be open on Monday (17th Feb) so please bring along food for lunch if you need to stay back after school for afternoon activities.
We encourage you to fully immerse yourself in the experience and try out the restricted food selection during your recesses even if it is not what you usually choose or prefer. Please also do not bring snacks/ your own food to consume during recess so that you can truly experience what it will be like during food disruption.
For students with food allergy and intolerances your parents would have received a Parents Gateway notification to notify the school of any food allergies and alternative arrangements would have been made.
Thank you and we hope you have a meaningful experience.
Brought to you by National Education Team (Active Citizenship Committee)
