Support SST Students Finalists in ICIA Innovation Awards “BioWall” Project

Dear SST students,

We’re proud to announce that Gedeon Koh (S305) and Arnab Ghosh (S301) from SST have been selected as Global Finalists in the International Creativity and Innovation Award (ICIA) 2025, under the prestigious Innovation Award category.

Their project, BioWall, is a visionary concept that transforms a simple wall into a multi-functional climate solution — capturing carbon, harvesting wind energy, repelling dirt, and reducing heat all at once, in just a single wall. Built on science, innovation, and sustainability, BioWall is a powerful response to the global climate crisis, solving mutiple UN sustainability goals such as SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), by transforming ordinary walls into intelligent, climate-responsive systems that cool cities, capture carbon, and generate clean energy.

Now, they need your support.

As part of the finals, their video and Instagram feature are live — and every like, comment, and share boosts their visibility and strengthens their presence on the international stage.

🎥 Watch, like and comment on their video:

📸 Support them on Instagram here

Let’s rally behind our students. Your support can amplify their message, inspire global audiences, and show the world what SST innovators are capable of. Together, let’s help bring BioWall to life!

The program aims to serve communities by developing digital solutions that enhance our world. SST Inc. trains, develops, and educates the next generation of innovators and developers.

Students play a crucial role in serving the community through #ProjectServe. They are responsible for initiating their start-ups, developing technological solutions that contribute to the betterment of society, and creating apps that directly benefit the community.

After six months of dedicated learning, deserving Trainees are promoted to Associate Employees. This promotion marks the start of a new phase in their journey, during which they will learn another programming language, Kotlin, to develop apps using Android Studio for Android devices or React Native for cross-platform development.

Students will embark on ProjectServe after completing the Associate Employees’ training phase. In ProjectServe, students form companies, find clients, and develop app solutions. SST Inc. will guide and support this process, ensuring students have the necessary resources and knowledge to succeed.
