SST Gym Booking - Sec 4 Only
Dear S4 students,
The much-awaited wait for the school gym is finally over! We will be opening the gym to all Secondary 4 students, with multiple slots availableduring your breaks. Please look through the briefing video to familiarise yourself with the booking system and the code of conduct. The Google Form for next week has also been attached below. If you are interested in the slots for next week, please submit them by 11.59 pm on 24th Jan. Do note that forms for the following weeks will be sent via your respective house announcement chats.

2026 S1 CCA Tryout Schedule
Dear S1 Students,
Please refer to this spreadsheet for your CCA tryout schedule. All the CCA tryout sessions are held at their respective CCA training venue (unless otherwise stated).
As shared during my briefing last week, you are strongly encouraged to attend at least SIX different CCA tryouts. If you have valid reasons on why you need to rearrange your tryout slots, please contact the CCA Teacher-in-charge and arrange.

[Nominations start] Student-Initiated Service Learning Project (Open Group & CCA)
Dear students,
Amidst the preparation and execution of your respective classes’ service-learning projects, this is a call for those among you passionate in making a positive difference and keen on initiating separate student self-initiated projects.
To apply, please follow the instructions and timelines in this document. You are to make a copy of the proposal document. Please do NOT edit directly.
(Open Group projects are for students across levels, classes in the same service-learning project)
If you would like to initiate projects within your CCA group, please refer to the instructions and timeline in this document instead. You are to make a copy of it. Please do not edit directly.
Here are some key dates for ease of reference:
Before 25 February 2026 - Form a committee of a maximum 5 students. Alternatively, you may embark on the project individually.
By 25 February 2026 - Submit a draft proposal (Stage 1 and Stage 2A of the Student-Initiated Service Learning Project Form) and book a consultation with an ACE teacher-in-charge.
24 March 2026 (2200 hrs) - Submit the final and completed proposal
By 2 April 2026 - Receive the result of the proposal submitted, i.e. whether the project is approved
By 30 June 2026 - Service of the student-initiated project to be completed (for Sec 4 students)
By 1st November 2026 - Service of the student-initiated project to be completed (for Sec 1,2 and 3 students)

[S1, S2] Cyber Defenders: Sentinel Programme Application (2026 Intake)
Do you have a passion for technology, problem-solving, and protecting the digital world? The Sentinel Programme invites 2026 Secondary 1 and Secondary 2 students to apply for a fully sponsored national talent development programme in cybersecurity, digital skills, and AI.
Organised by the Digital and Intelligence Service (DIS) in collaboration with the Defence Technology Community, the Sentinel Programme is supported by MINDEF/SAF and aims to develop Singapore’s next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
What is the Sentinel Programme?
The Sentinel Programme is a long-term national talent development pathway designed to groom students with strong aptitude and interest in cybersecurity and digital technologies.
Cybersecurity and digital skills workshops
Hands-on classes and competitions
Exposure to real-world defence cybersecurity operations
Mentorships, visits and internships
Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications in cybersecurity (from 2026 onwards)
The programme provides a structured learning journey from Secondary school to Pre-University level, preparing students for future careers in the cybersecurity and defence technology sectors.
Who Can Apply?
2026 Secondary 1 Intake
Open to:
Students entering Secondary 1 in 2026
Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
No prior programming experience required (but useful)
Students will attend:
Holiday workshops
Experiential learning activities
Online learning modules

2027 Secondary 3 Intake (for current Secondary 2 students)
For students who develop an interest in cybersecurity during lower secondary, there is a special intake to join at Secondary 3 in 2027.
Open to:
Students entering Secondary 2 in 2026
Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents
Preferred: basic knowledge of web development and networking
Selected students will attend a bridging workshop in December 2026 before joining the programme in January 2027.

Class of 2025 : Release of 2025 GCE O-Level Examination Results and SST-NP IDP Graduation Certificates
This announcement is for all 2025 Secondary 4 students.
Below is the programme for the events taking place on 14 January 2026 (Wednesday).

Reporting time & other Instructions
Students must be properly attired in FULL SST uniform and grooming (i.e. hair colour, length, appearance) must adhere to the school’s standards.
Students who do not meet the attire and grooming rules will be directed to the Visitor's Center, where they will obtain their results and certificate at that venue at a later timing.
You will be allowed entry into SST from 12.40 p.m. onwards.
Please bring along your NRIC/Passport/Birth Certificate/Student Pass for identification purposes if you are collecting your results on that day.
Please refer to the SST Student Blog or your SST email for more information and details.
Students collecting their GCE O-Level results arriving later than 3.00 p.m. but before 5.00 p.m.
Students are to collect their result slip and certificate from the General Office.
Students must present their NRIC/Passport/Birth Certificate/Student Pass to the staff member at the General Office for verification.
For students who are unable to collect their GCE O-level result slips on 14 January 2026
Students can also appoint a proxy to collect the physical copy of their result slip and certificate on their behalf.
Proxy may collect the result slip and certificate from the General Office from 14 January, 3.00 p.m. onwards. Proxy is required to present the following documents to the staff member at the General Office before he/she is able to collect the result slip.
■ SST Authorisation Letter duly completed
■ Student’s NRIC/Passport/Birth Certificate/Student Pass
■ Proxy’s original NRIC
Results slip and certificate must be collected from the General Office latest by the next working day on Thursday,15 January 2025, 5:00 p.m.
Students are to contact 65717-200 (during office hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) for assistance if they are unable to appoint a proxy.

Additional Information for Parents
If you wish to accompany your child to school, we kindly request that you proceed to the Parents’ Section at the Multi- Purpose Hall and take a seat from 1:15 p.m. onwards. Please note that due to space constraints, we can only accommodate up to 2 parents per student.
If you are driving, we appreciate your cooperation in parking at the following HDB carparks and entering the school via Gate B (near the zebra crossing), Gate C (near the bus stop) or Gate D (near ISH). As school will be in session on that day, we seek your understanding that parking within the school compound is not permitted.

2026 ACE@SST: ACE programme and Service-Learning matters
Dear students,
The SST Active-Citizenship Education (ACE) programme seeks to nurture passionate advocates engaged in Active citizenship and transformed by Service-learning and some cohort-wide programmes you will experience are listed below.
Secondary 1
Basic Advocacy and Service Education in collaboration with ChangeMakers 2.0
Secondary 2
ACE Student Leadership Board selection
Student-initiated Service-learning projects (Term 1 to 3)
Secondary 3:
Cohort-wide Class Led Service-learning projects with HaoRenHaoShi (好人好事)
Student-initiated Service-learning projects (Term 1 to 3)
Secondary 4:
Cohort-wide Class Led Service-learning projects (Term 1 to 3)
Student-initiated Service-learning projects (Term 1 to 3)
Other than the cohort-wide service-learning programs, student agency is encouraged and further service opportunities are available through,
(a) Volunteering with Student-initiated projects organised by the ACE student leaders such as #SSTACTvocates, a school wide effort.
1) Initiating your own service projects
2) Volunteering with external organisations.
3) Volunteering through Student-initiated projects.
(b) Self-initiated service-learning projects
Students are also encouraged to initiate their own service projects or with their CCA peers in the areas they are passionate about. More information on this will be shared shortly on SST Student Blog.
(c) Volunteering with external organisations
SST recognises service rendered to external organisations provided certain conditions are met. Please note the following information on volunteering and submission of service hours documents.
(i) Before volunteering: Obtain permission from your parents/ guardians before signing up with the external organisation.
(ii) After volunteering: Obtain an official document from the external organisation with your full name and the hours volunteered. This document must be signed by the personnel in charge or stamped with the official logo of the organisation.
(iii) Within 2 weeks after the completion of service: Submit a scanned copy or clear photo image of the official document using “ACE@SST: 2026 Service Hours Submission” Google Form.
* If you intend to volunteer regularly/ multiple times at the same external organisation, submit the official document only after the last service for the year latest by 1 November 2026.
* For service at an external organisation with a group of friends on the same dates, only 1 representative should submit the Google Form on behalf of the group, attaching the relevant documents for every group member in the form.
