Best Model of Future Singapore

Build a model with the theme ‘Best Model of Future Singapore’ using your SG50 Building My SG set and stand to win a LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3 Core Set worth $668 (3 sets to be won). Up to $1000 worth of vouchers to be won.

Students from Primary, Secondary, Special Education and Tertiary schools/ institutions

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Build a model that represents Future Singapore, take a photo of your creation Upload your photo to our photo contest page: http://www.buildingmysg.com/sg50 with a description of your creation. A clear description will earn you bonus points! All previous entries uploaded will be considered for this contest too.

HBL - in Timetable

Blended Learning in MOE’s context refers to a seamless blending of different modes of learning to enhance students’ educational experience. One aspect of Blended Learning is the integration of home-based learning (HBL) as a regular feature of the schooling experience.

HBL takes place once a fortnight when students do not report to school for lessons, but carry out self-directed learning or activities assigned to be completed remotely.

Instructions and tasks will be assigned by the subject teacher in the Google Classroom (though the tasks may not be confined to the Google Classroom).

HBL - not in Timetable

In the event that HBL is declared for a school day (i.e. not in timetable or pre-planned):
1. Subject lessons will follow current timetable.
2. Lessons will take place via the existing GMeet/ Online platforms set up in the subject Google Classrooms.
3. Login and report to the Form Teacher at the usual morning assembly time for attendance taking and morning briefing. REMEMBER:
Check the Students Blog and your official email regularly (8 am and 5pm) for any updates communicated to you in the day.
