Math Challenge #11

2021 SST Math Challenge is back for one last challenge for the year!

This week, we are combining Art and Math.

Many of our students are familiar with Desmos to help us visualise graphs easily. However, Desmos can also be used to draw pictures that include straight lines and curves. 

Have you ever thought of using Desmos to create art?

Invitation to Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) 2021

You are invited to take part in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) 2021.

It will be held on Wednesday 4 August. 

The timing and venue of the competition will be announced nearer to the date.

All S1-S4 students are eligible to sign up.

There will be 6 compulsory online training lessons for students to complete before going to the competition (which can be taken any time before the competition).

• The competition fee is AUD6.50 (S$6.70) and will be collected through Edusave. 
• If you do not have sufficient Edusave funds, it will be collected through GIRO.

If you are keen to sign up, kindly sign up HERE.

The deadline for signing up will be 1 June 2021 (Tuesday) 5.00 p.m.

• Due to the development of COVID-19 situation, more updates will be communicated via your school e-mail once you have signed up.
• Should you have further questions, you can contact Ms Deana at deana_syazwani_binte_azman@sst.edu.sg.
