From 19 Dec 2024, all 2024 subject groups would be found under "PAST" class groups. 

You would be able to find holiday your assignments (as well as materials) that your teachers assigned in the SLS there.

To better meet user needs, the Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) has shifted its year end release day. As a result, SLS will now be temporarily unavailable during a system upgrade from 28 November 2024 (Thursday) until the evening of 29 November 2024 (Friday).

[S2/S3/S4] SLS Account - LOG-IN & Profile Update EXERCISE

Dear Students

In December 2022, a second login method to the SLS was introduced (see post on 2 Dec 2022).

To ensure that your access to the learning materials in the SLS is not disrupted,  we are conducting a log-in and profile update exercise.

[S1] SLS Account - Log-in Exercise

Dear S1s

The Student Learning Space (SLS) is one of the online platforms that you will use regularly for learning in SST. It is therefore important for us to ensure access to this account.

In December, the MOE SLS team introduced an alternative method to log in to the system. 

• Method 1: Using the existing SLS account (the way you log in when in primary school)
• Method 2: Using the MIMS account (similar to your Student ICON account).

SLS: How to access your 2022 assignments/ lessons?

Dear Students

As we prepare to enter the new academic year, the student accounts in SLS are now assigned to your 2023 classes. As a result, assignments/ lessons that were assigned in 2022 are now moved to the "Past" category in the system.

To access these "old assignments"

STEP 1: Select "Class Groups"

STEP 2: Click "Past"

SLS: New Interface and Login Methods

w.e.f. 2 Dec 2022: New look of the SLS at https://www.learning.moe.edu.sg/

You can now login to your SLS using 2 methods (as shared earlier):

• Existing SLS account OR
• MIMS account (which is similar to your MOE ICON email account)

If you encounter problem logging into the SLS, please send an email to itd@sst.edu.sg using your SST email account (as a means of identity authentication) 

• Provide a clear subject heading (e.g. Problem logging into SLS)
• State your full name, NRIC number and current class clearly in the email.
• Describe the problem encountered clearly. Screenshots would be helpful.

REMEMBER: Observe 4Rs when crafting an email - start with a greeting.

Dear Students, 

Please be informed that the Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) will be temporarily unavailable during a system upgrade from Wednesday 30th Nov until the evening of Thursday 1st December 2022.

[SLS] New ALTERNATIVE method to login

Starting from 1 December 2022, SLS will introduce an alternative method to login to the system.

Apart from the existing method, you may also login to the SLS using your MIMS account i.e. same as your ICON email address (from MOE), NOT your SST email account.

[2021 S4] Extension of SLS access for 2021 graduating cohort

Announcement by the MOE SLS Office (12 Nov 2021):

In view of the removal of the common last topics from the 2021 national examinations, SLS access for the 2021 graduating cohort will be extended till 31 Mar 2022. This is to that the students can continue to access self-paced learning packages related to the common test topics in the MOE library in the first quarter of next year.

The Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS) will soon be launching an “Avatar” feature so that users will be able to personalise their SLS profiles. 

The SLS Design and Development Team is organising an SLS Avatar Competition to allow students to design the avatar choices for this feature.

An SLS Avatar Competition Lesson is published in MOE Library, where you can find detailed instructions such as judging criteria, templates and FAQs for the competition.

[S1] SLS Email Verification Exercise

Dear S1 students

With all of you indicated that you are able to login to the SLS (learning.moe.edu.sg), the next step is to carry out the email verification exercise so that you can self-reset password if you forget your login password. 

NOTE: SST email address is preferred.

• For those of you who have not saved any email addresss under your profile OR used your primary school email address, please update your SST email address under your profile
• For those of you who had used your parents' email address in your profile, you are strongly encouraged to update it with your SST email address so that you can self-reset if need to.

[S1] Student Learning Space: Getting Ready (1) LOGIN exercise

Dear S1 students

To ensure smooth access to the learning resources in the Student Learning Space (SLS), please attempt to log into your SLS account by FRIDAY (15 Jan), to ensure that you can login to your account successfully. 

What you need to do:

Log in to the Student Learning Space (SLS) at http://learning.moe.edu.sg
Username: First 5 characters of your name, followed by last 5 characters of your NRIC number.

Fill out the FORM to indicate whether you could login successfully by 15 January (FRIDAY)

If you have forgotten your login password, you may attempt to reset the password yourself. You should receive the information via the email account that was saved in the system when you were in primary school.

With lessons officially started, it is time for you to get ready... to ensure you could login to your SLS account. The SLS account is where you could gain access to learning materials produced/ curated by the MOE for students in Singapore).

You have saved your email addresses in the SLS, which means you can reset the password yourself.
