Special Invitation from Microsoft for girls

Hi!

We at Microsoft Singapore are excited to tell you about DigiGirlz 2017 – an event hosted for girl students in the age group of 13-16, to get them excited about a career in Science and Technology.

DigiGirlz is Microsoft’s signature programs to spark interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Manth (STEM) industries for young secondary school girls. This year, DigiGirlz Singapore will be held on 29th July 2017 at Microsoft OMB Auditorium from 8AM-4:30PM. We are aiming to target approximately 200 students, 30 parents and 20 teachers as participants this year.

We have selected the theme “Tech Adventure”, which aspires to bring secondary school girls, parents and teachers on a journey exploring several different industries (Eg. Healthcare, Finance and Education). Through this, we want to ignite the interest to explore and discover the many wonders of being a part of the STEM industry. We want to bring across the message that girls are equally capable of being great inventors and can work in any industry.

We would like to invite the girl students of School of Science and Technology, Singapore for this event. You can find the event details in the flyer below where there is also a link to register you and your students.

For any concerns feel free to reach out to me at +65 8694 9577 or t-nigera@microsoft.com
Have a great day!

We encourage you to join our “Tech Adventure” event to learn and be inspired from the exciting world of STEM.

Best regards,
