Jointly organised by the Antimicrobial Resistance Programme at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore, the School of Life Sciences and Chemical Technology, Ngee Ann Polytechnic and the Department of Microbiology at Singapore General Hospital, the contest is open to all students of Singapore schools and polytechnics age 13-20 years.
PARTICIPATION
The original English essay of up to 1,500 words, reflecting on the theme of the contest – “Antibiotics: A Double- Edged Sword”. Participants can select any format or approach as they wish (i.e. poetry, fiction, scientific communication with references, etc.) as long as the theme of the contest is met.
Submission of entries opens from 1 June 2018, 0800H and will close on 31 August 2018, 2359H. No further entries will be accepted after this date.
Participants are required to submit their essays in the form of Microsoft Word documents or PDFs, with an accompanying short caption, to both the following email addresses: mdchly@nus.edu.sg and idsg50feedback@gmail.com.
