Dear Students,
One of our Media TDP students, Tan Yi Kai (S3-02) entered the Canon FilmFive Short Film Competition with another Media TDP student Shayden Wong Rui Kai (S2-02), Shannen Samuel Rajoo (S3-06), and Corwin Chong Yao Kiat (S3-06).
The theme set by Canon was Re. Any word that starts with 'Re'.
"In collaboration with the National Council on Problem Gambling this year, we seek to bring awareness of problem gambling among youths nowadays. Without being too literal about problem gambling in your short film, we are looking for entries that strike the right balance between capturing the audience's hearts and minds and also bring awareness."
Our students' piece of work has been selected as one of the Top 8 nominees, and their short film has been posted up on Canon FilmFive website for the audience choice voting. Voters can stand a chance to win a Canon Selphy Printer (worth $199)! Voting will close on 11 November 2019, 2359hrs.
To encourage our young filmmakers, please click on this LINK and vote for them.
Important note
This is a fictional video where students took artistic licence to be so blatant about gambling in the open. It does not represent our school's stance on gambling.
