Dear Students,
The Multi-Ministry Task Force on COVID-19 announced on 20 October 2020 that schools have been identified as one of the venues where TT-SE is required due to high human traffic and prolonged periods of contact between individuals. As we move towards Phase 3 re-opening and more activities resume, it is essential for the widespread adoption of key digital contact tracing tools to detect COVID-19 clusters quickly.
TT-SE will complement existing Safe Management Measures in all MOE schools from January 2021. All staff, students and visitors will be required to use the TT App or Token in school from January 2021. During the end-of-year school holidays, students/staff/visitors can use the TT App or Token, or scan their NRIC/Student pass for entry to schools.
Please note that the collection of tokens is only available at your respective constituency community centres/clubs (CCs). There is no need to rush to the CCs to collect the tokens. You are strongly encouraged to check the TokenGoWhere website (www.Token.gowhere.gov.sg) to find out which is your designated collection venue, as well as the opening schedules of the collection centres before heading down to the CCs.
You can refer to the MOE FAQs for further information on the implementation of the TT-SE and other safe management measures in school.
We appreciate
your support in this nationwide effort. Thank you.
