Dear SST Family,
As part of the Secondary Four Service-Learning Projects, S4-09 will be carrying out a food drive in collaboration with Food from the Heart, Singapore.
Through our project, we hope to educate the SST community on food waste and food insecurity while collecting donations of food items for the less privileged individuals and families whose per capita income typically falls below $690 per month.
Hence, we hope to benefit the underprivileged communities in Singapore through your generous donations.
Collection of food items will be from 5 April to 25 April in the donation boxes placed outside.
Small stairs outside Blk C classrooms (Lvl 4)
To ensure minimal food wastage, please only donate:
Rice in smaller packs (1kg or 2.5kg)
Vermicelli / Bee Hoon
Milo / Ovaltine / Horlicks (less sugar)
Canned Vegetables / Mock Meat
Coffee / Tea (less sugar)
Canned Fish / Chicken
Cooking Oil (500ml or 1L)
Bread Spread (Kaya, Jams, Nutella etc)
You may wish to make your contributions through Redmart, NTUC, Cold Storage, etc (any delivery service) and have the items delivered to SST’s General Office (GO). Please put a note indicating your full name and class when you make the order.
