Service-Learning opportunities: Project Rainbow by SST ACE in Collaboration with Hwa Chong Institution Service Learning fellowship

Dear SSTudents,

During the holidays, some of us joined a service learning fellowship (SLF) with Hwa Chong Institution. From SLF, we have created a project where we volunteer at a school for children with special needs.

This year, we will be recruiting volunteers to make a difference in these children's lives, and also provide help to the teachers teaching them.

Resource making:
As a volunteer, you will be making learning resources alongside the teachers, lightening their workload considerably.

Hands-on interaction:
Volunteers of 15 years and above can physically interact with the children, and help set up activity booths for a public event.

If you want to volunteer with us, please find out more or apply at  https://forms.gle/rehYZQDwNep8qbGH8

If you have any questions, please contact us at either low_zheng_hui@s2021.ssts.edu.sg
Or

Yours sincerely,
Project Rainbow Team

The objectives of SAW are:

1. To recognise and value the contributions made by SST staff in supporting the school community

2. To strengthen the bond between students and staff in SST

3. To encourage the SST community to practice appreciation towards one another, fostering a positive culture in SST.

In line with these objectives, the theme for SAW 2024 is “A Universe of Appreciation

We would like to invite students to come forward to demonstrate their appreciation by showcasing their talents at the SAW concert.
