(Sec 4) Morning Assembly in Auditorium & Sec 4 EL Oral Exam Briefing

Dear Sec 4s,

Please note that you will be having your morning assembly in the auditorium on 2 April, Wednesday. The EL Dept will be conducting a briefing for the EL Oral Exam that is scheduled from 8-10 Apr.

Please make your way to the auditorium at 7.30am.You are to seat in your rows according to class. The anthem will be played at 7.40am sharp.

The EL Oral Exam briefing will commence after the playing of the school song. The briefing should last no more than 10 minutes.

If you are a designated TimeKeeper, please stay behind after the main briefing to receive your instructions on rules and guidelines, as well as the oral exam layout.

HBL - in Timetable

Blended Learning in MOE’s context refers to a seamless blending of different modes of learning to enhance students’ educational experience. One aspect of Blended Learning is the integration of home-based learning (HBL) as a regular feature of the schooling experience.

HBL takes place once a fortnight when students do not report to school for lessons, but carry out self-directed learning or activities assigned to be completed remotely.

Instructions and tasks will be assigned by the subject teacher in the Google Classroom (though the tasks may not be confined to the Google Classroom).

HBL - not in Timetable

In the event that HBL is declared for a school day (i.e. not in timetable or pre-planned):
1. Subject lessons will follow current timetable.
2. Lessons will take place via the existing GMeet/ Online platforms set up in the subject Google Classrooms.
3. Login and report to the Form Teacher at the usual morning assembly time for attendance taking and morning briefing. REMEMBER:
Check the Students Blog and your official email regularly (8 am and 5pm) for any updates communicated to you in the day.
