Dear SST Family,
As part of #SEAstainable, an ACE student-initiated project that aims to raise awareness about ocean conservancy and plastic pollution, ACE Leaders from the #SSTore@ACE team have produced a short video explaining the impacts of plastic pollution on the oceans and what you can do to help. Watch this short video and learn about how micro-plastics impact the ocean and the simple steps you can take to reduce these impacts.
P.S. For those who have pre-ordered merchandise with #SEAstainable, do drop by our pop-up store for collection on 25th & 27th May, 2pm to 2.40pm and 1pm to 2pm, respectively.

Dear Sec 3 and 4 student,
Since 2000, Heartware Network has been supporting the National Day Parade
In the 23rd year of collaboration with the NDP EXCO, Heartware Network will be recruiting, training and developing youths into leaders of tomorrow through the exciting experience of serving the community at a national event.
The ACE Committee has just launched a new service learning website, #SST-ACTivate!
This website contains a collection of articles, list of voluntary welfare organisations and initiatives, service learning projects that students embarked on in the past to inspire you, as well as guides on how you may do the same in making a positive difference to the community.
You are highly encouraged to take time to explore the website so as to become stewards of change for the betterment of the community at large (: However, note that while the application dates for initiating an open group service learning project has closed, you may still do so with your CCA or committees.
Best regards, from the Active Citizenship Education (ACE) Committee
