Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) [Talent Development Unit]

Dear Sec 1 & 2 students,

Overview:
Welcome to the world of problem-solving with Data Structures and Algorithms! You will discover how computers organise, store, and retrieve information efficiently. You will learn how data structures, like lists, dictionaries, stacks, and queues, work to manage data and how algorithms help solve problems step by step.
  •  Understand the basics of arrays, linked lists, stacks, and queues.
  •  Learn how to search through data and sort lists in fun ways.
  •  Develop critical thinking skills to solve everyday problems using algorithms.
  •  Use your new knowledge to create your mini-projects and challenges.
By the end of this course, you will have a basic foundation in understanding how data and algorithms are at the heart of technology, helping you build your cool projects and prepare for more advanced studies in computer science!

Ideal for: Students who are curious about how technology works and want to explore the exciting world of coding and problem-solving. Students should have a Python IDE installed on their LDs. Common Python IDEs:
