Outdoor Unstructured Play During Haze Conditions

Dear SST Students,

In view of the worsening haze conditions, we will use a red flag placed in the middle of the field to signal when outdoor unstructured play is suspended. Please look out for a red flag in the middle of the field, as shown in the photograph below.

If the flag is up, all outdoor unstructured play is suspended. This applies to the field and all other outdoor spaces in school. The flag will be placed when the 24-hour PSI exceeds 100, or the 1-hour PM2.5 reading exceeds 56µg/m³.

Please follow this arrangement even if the air appears clear. You may resume unstructured outdoor play only after the flag has been removed.

[S4] 2026 GCE O-Level (Written) Exam Matters

Dear students,

The GCE O-Level Year-End Written Exam will take place from 7 October to 10 November 2026.

Please find the following for your reference:

Please read and note the following points before your examination.

THINGS TO NOTE:

1. REPORTING TIME

- Candidates are to report at least 40 minutes BEFORE the start of the exam paper at the exam assembly venue.

2. REPORTING VENUE / SEAT NUMBER AND SEATING PLAN

- Refer to your seat number in the seating plan BEFORE the exam day.

- For Paper conducted in Blk D: report at ISH (Sit according to the column number card placed on the floor).

- For Paper conducted at Blk B or C: refer to the reporting venue in the seating plan.

3. THINGS TO BRING

- ENTRY PROOF and NRIC (and approved AA Outcome Letter, if applicable).

- All required exam stationery and equipment, approved calculators, approved dictionaries or e-dictionaries.

- Calculators and e-dictionaries model MUST  be visible on your calculator or dictionaries. Bring extra batteries/ calculators/ e-dictionaries. NO EXTRA BATTERIES will be provided.

- OPTIONAL ITEMS: Water bottle, SST jacket (ONLY).

4. ATTIRE AND PERSONAL GROOMING

- Check your grooming (attire, hair, nails, etc)

- SST uniform and S&W attire are allowed.

- SST jacket (ONLY) (optional).

5. TO ENSURE EXAM RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE NOT COMPROMISED

- SWITCH OFF all electronic devices e.g., handphones, and put them in your bag before reporting to the Exam/ Assembly venue.

- Check that there are no slips of paper or notes in your pockets or jacket pockets.

- Ensure that your calculator covers are kept in your bag before reporting to the exam venue.

- Jackets will be subjected to random checks. Ensure that all pockets are empty before entering the exam venue.

6. SELF-CARE

- Visit the toilet BEFORE reporting to the Exam/ Assembly venue.

- Fill your water bottle, if needed, BEFORE reporting to the Exam/ Assembly venue.

7. OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE

- Write your FULL name, O-Level Index Number (not your register number) on EVERY piece of writing paper you use during the exam.

- Write your FULL name, O-Level Index Number (not your register number) WHEN YOU ARE GIVEN THE TIME TO DO SO, NOT AFTER the end of the paper. Please do not test the system.

- Use a black or dark blue ball-point pen for all your papers.

- FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE EXAM PERSONNEL / INVIGILATORS STRICTLY.

[S1, S2, S3] 2026 GCE O-Level Science & Computing Practical Exams

Dear S1, S2 and S3 students,

Science Practical Exam

• Please be informed that the Secondary 4 students will be taking their GCE O-Level Science Practical Examination on 30 Sep (Wed), 5 Oct (Mon) and 13 Oct (Tue).
• The exam venues are Biology Labs and Chemistry Labs in Block C, Level 1. As such, the area outside these labs are Out of Bounds to ALL students. Do not walk into this area.
• Other Out of Bounds areas in Block C are Level 2 (outside Phy Labs) and Level 3 (outside Lecture Theatre and Seminar Room).
• In addition, 2 sets of stairs are also Out of Bounds. Please use the stairs next to the walkway to MPH or the stairs next to the canteen. See the layout of Block C Level 1 below.

Computing Practical Exam

• The GCE O-Level Computing Practical Examination will take place on 7 Oct (Wed).
• The exam venues are Physics Labs, Engineering Lab and Electronics Labs in Block C, Level 2.
  As such, the area outside these labs are Out of Bounds to ALL students. Do not walk into this area.

If you come across areas OR staircases that are cordoned off, please take an alternative route.
