[For those who are interested] Training for algorithmic & competitive programming

These sessions will provide you with the basic skill set required for programming competitions.One of the focuses will be for the upcoming AIO 2021.

Please note that these sessions are not meant for total beginners.

Pre-requisites

You should possess some basic knowledge of programming constructs (sequence, selection and iteration) and data types.

Python Language

Date: 14th, 15th & 16h June 2021

Time: 9 am to 11 am (including a 15-min break)

C++ Language

Date: 21st & 22nd June 2021

Time: 9 am to 11 am (including a 15-min break)

HBL - in Timetable

Blended Learning in MOE’s context refers to a seamless blending of different modes of learning to enhance students’ educational experience. One aspect of Blended Learning is the integration of home-based learning (HBL) as a regular feature of the schooling experience.

HBL takes place once a fortnight when students do not report to school for lessons, but carry out self-directed learning or activities assigned to be completed remotely.

Instructions and tasks will be assigned by the subject teacher in the Google Classroom (though the tasks may not be confined to the Google Classroom).

HBL - not in Timetable

In the event that HBL is declared for a school day (i.e. not in timetable or pre-planned):
1. Subject lessons will follow current timetable.
2. Lessons will take place via the existing GMeet/ Online platforms set up in the subject Google Classrooms.
3. Login and report to the Form Teacher at the usual morning assembly time for attendance taking and morning briefing. REMEMBER:
Check the Students Blog and your official email regularly (8 am and 5pm) for any updates communicated to you in the day.
