Dear teachers and students
After a one-year hiatus, the I Am A Singer competition is finally returning to SST! This year, we have added two new categories, and we encourage everyone to participate! Grab this opportunity to unleash your talent and let your voice works its magic!
Competition Details & Rules:
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline: Term1 Week 7, 17th February 2025, 23:59
- Grand Finale: Term 1 Week 9, 5th March 2025, 12:40-13:40 (during the afternoon assembly)
- If selected, the organizer will notify the participants between T1W7 and T1W8.
How to Register:
Record a video of yourself or your group singing and upload it to this Google Form before the registration deadline.
Registration Video & Competition Requirements
- No acappella singing is allowed.
- You may play an instrument yourself, have someone to do it, or use a karaoke track (minus one).
- A participant can only upload one song in the same category.
- A participant can join different competition groups, but in any choral category, they can only represent one singing group.
Competition Categories
- Solo (Student)
- Choral (Student) (2-5 participants)
- Choral (Teacher-Student)(3-5 participants. The group must consist of at least two students and no more than two teachers.)
Song Selection
Any Mandarin song
(The content of the original song must not involve inappropriate descriptions related to politics, society, language, religion, race, or other sensitive topics. If violated, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant.)

- 不允许清唱
- 可以自行弹唱或由他人伴奏或使用伴唱音乐（Minus one）
- 同一个参赛者在同一个组别内只可以上载一首歌
- 同一个参赛者可以参加不同的比赛组合，但在任何一个合唱组别中，该参赛者只可以代表一个歌唱组合。
- 学生独唱
- 学生合唱（人数介于二至五人）
- 师生合唱（人数介于三至五人。小组须由最少两位学生以及最多两位老师组成）
