At a glance, these will be the various activities happening from today, 31st July to 8th August!

Dear students,
As shared during morning assembly today, the theme for this year's RHD is Singapore: Our Multicultural Mosaic.
The NE team has planned the upcoming activities to commemorate Racial Harmony Day (RHD) next week, the SST way, choosing to focus on Applied Learning. The highlight of this year's RHD planning includes experiential learning journeys to 3 locations, for students to immerse themselves and learn about how the various religious institutions (Masjid Darussalam and Church of the Holy Cross) and heritage site (Kampung Glam) help to foster multiculturalism and religious harmony in Singapore.
On 21st July (Friday) All students are encouraged to dress in ethnic costumes to commemorate RHD - representative of the major ethnicities of the Singaporean identity - Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasians. Please see infographic for reference. Please be mindful of the Dos and Dont’s by referring to the SST Attire and Grooming guidelines. Be respectful with your choice of ethnic attire. (no inter-ethnic mixing, no cross-gender dressing, no Cosplay allowed)
Finally, all class Chairpersons will need to submit a Google Form to participate in the ethnic costume challenge by 1700 on 21st July. Late entries will be disqualified.. Prizes will be awarded for the class (by level):
Most number of students dressed in ethnic costumes
Most ethnically diverse costumes worn
Have a fruitful RHD week!
Brought to you by the NE Committee

Dear SST students,
Staff Appreciation Week (SAW) is an annual event eagerly awaited by staff and students.
The objectives of SAW are:
To appreciate the contributions that both teaching and non-teaching staff in SST have made to support the school’s community
For students to bond with the staff in SST and to recognise their efforts by learning more about them and their backgrounds
To encourage the SST community to practice appreciation and gratitude towards each other
To foster a positive and grateful culture through appreciating the numerous things the SST family do for each other daily.
To build a platform where SST students can rally together as one SST to express thanks and foster school spirit and identity as a family
To foster a respectful and grateful relationship with the staff of SST
In line with the objectives, the theme for SAW 2023 is “Our Tapestry of Thanks”
Just like how tapestry and clothing are woven meticulously into one fabric, each and everyone of us make up our unique tapestry of our one SST family.
