[S1, S2, S3, S4] (T2W9) THU 22 May - Lesson Arrangements (no HBL)

Dear Sec 1s to Sec 4s,

Please be informed that there will be LESSONS AS USUAL in school on ODD Thursday, 22 May 2025 in Week 9.

In view of the shortened school day on 2 May 2025 (Friday) and school holiday on 5 May 2025 (Monday), HBL for Sec 1s to Sec 3s on 22 May 2025 (Thursday) will be cancelled.
All levels will follow the EVEN Monday timetable for the lessons till 1400.
There will be a SUTD Basic Ethics Programme for Sec 3 students from 1400 to 1600.
There will be MTL/ HMTL lessons for Sec 4 from 1400 to 1500.

HBL - in Timetable

Blended Learning in MOE’s context refers to a seamless blending of different modes of learning to enhance students’ educational experience. One aspect of Blended Learning is the integration of home-based learning (HBL) as a regular feature of the schooling experience.

HBL takes place once a fortnight when students do not report to school for lessons, but carry out self-directed learning or activities assigned to be completed remotely.

Instructions and tasks will be assigned by the subject teacher in the Google Classroom (though the tasks may not be confined to the Google Classroom).

HBL - not in Timetable

In the event that HBL is declared for a school day (i.e. not in timetable or pre-planned):
1. Subject lessons will follow current timetable.
2. Lessons will take place via the existing GMeet/ Online platforms set up in the subject Google Classrooms.
3. Login and report to the Form Teacher at the usual morning assembly time for attendance taking and morning briefing. REMEMBER:
Check the Students Blog and your official email regularly (8 am and 5pm) for any updates communicated to you in the day.
