Student Learning Space... new resources for exploration...

(A) Resources in SLS

Since the rollout of the SLS, new resources have been added, under the MOE library section.

You are encouraged to access the resources (in the MOE resource library) and continue to touch base with your learning during the school holiday. You may wish to take the opportunity to explore new topics to extend and deepen your learning on your own, or to strengthen areas have identified.

w.e.f. 1 Dec 2022, we can login to the SLS using either the SLS login ID/password OR the MIMS account (i.e. MOE ICON account).

HBL - in Timetable

Blended Learning in MOE’s context refers to a seamless blending of different modes of learning to enhance students’ educational experience. One aspect of Blended Learning is the integration of home-based learning (HBL) as a regular feature of the schooling experience.

HBL takes place once a fortnight when students do not report to school for lessons, but carry out self-directed learning or activities assigned to be completed remotely.

Instructions and tasks will be assigned by the subject teacher in the Google Classroom (though the tasks may not be confined to the Google Classroom).

HBL - not in Timetable

In the event that HBL is declared for a school day (i.e. not in timetable or pre-planned):
1. Subject lessons will follow current timetable.
2. Lessons will take place via the existing GMeet/ Online platforms set up in the subject Google Classrooms.
3. Login and report to the Form Teacher at the usual morning assembly time for attendance taking and morning briefing. REMEMBER:
Check the Students Blog and your official email regularly (8 am and 5pm) for any updates communicated to you in the day.
