Dear students

All staff and students are encouraged to come in ethnic costumes to commemorate this day.

Guidelines on wearing ethnic costumes

Attire should still adhere to the fundamental philosophy of SST Attire and Grooming Guidelines and uphold the dignity of the SST student.
  • Please remember the usual rules of decency apply in the choice of your outfit.
  • Hence, revealing clothes and clothes with objectionable/ offensive text/prints should not be worn.
  • Be Respectful of ethnic costumes (no inter-ethnic mixing, no cross-gender dressing allowed)
  • Students are required to wear covered shoes.

Students who do not wish to come in ethnic costumes can choose to do so in full school uniform and are reminded to not be in half uniform. E.g. S&W top and school pants, ethnic top with school pants

Please note that for S&W lessons/CCA, you will have to change into appropriate S&W/CCA attire and footwear.

Students who do not comply with the guidelines may face disciplinary consequences.
