With the school holidays starting tomorrow for some of you, the ACE committee in collaboration with Heartware Network is sharing some volunteering opportunities which you may be keen to take up.
To note:
1. These opportunities are open from November 2023 and some projects do go into 2024.

1 | Heartware - River Hongbao 2024 (General Volunteers) | Provide hospitality management in roles such as ushering, VIPs and visitor management in the 10 -day extravaganza of lights, sights, and sounds to usher in the year of the Dragon. 2 | Heartware Support Our Pioneers Programme 2024 (General Volunteers) | Bridge the inter-generational divide and promote active aging among the elderly, fostering tighter bonds with our pioneer generation. Reach out to seniors who are less mobile and less socially active to receive guidance on important digital skills to enhance their day-to-day lives at the convenience of the senior house.

3 | Heartware Mobile Digital Clinic for Seniors in support of IMDA's Digital For Life 2023 (Quarter 4) (General Volunteers) | Conduct Digital Learning Workshops for seniors at various centres or through home visitations.
The workshop aims to equip seniors with relevant digital skills such as being proficient in using a smartphone and introducing them to digital services (i.e. Singpass/HealthHubSG). 4 | Heartware Interactive Learning Series with Beneficiaries (December Holidays) (General Volunteers) | Heartware Interactive Learning Series with Beneficiaries is an initiative by Heartware Network to engage underserved beneficiaries from all walks of life through meaningful and educational activities. Be involved in the planning, and executing of at least FOUR physical activities during the December school holidays.
